Wii in the classroom
Looking for a current article for this class, I came upon an article about integrating the Wii game system into the classroom. I think this would be a GREAT way to get the kids involved and have fun while learning at the same time. They way the teacher could integrate the Wii is by playing the bowling or baseball, or any sport game on Wii and integrating math by counting the scores and asking questions such as "If he scores one more homerun, how many points will team A win?" A teacher could also use Wii in gym class playing all sorts of games Wii offers. There could be a tournament of teams. If anyone is interested in reading this article you can find it one the website http://www.edutopia.org/ikid-wii-gaming-technology-classroom. Its a great way of integrating technology, games, learning and fun for both the students and teacher.

That is an awesome idea. I never thought about using the Wii in the classroom. You could even use it in the classroom when the children have a long dy of testing, have some students play a sports game to get them up and moving, if you have 10 free minutes before the next test is going to start, you could allow a few students time to play, and then allow other students the some time on the next break.
